Welcome! This is a website that everyone can build together. It's easy!

ATTENTION ALL CADETS!
Due to the lack of cadets using this site, the decision has been made to delete it. The blog on Blackboard will be used to communicate with all the cadets on any subject. Cadets will be expected to check blackboard before class everyday and use it to their benefit. If you have any questions, please see Major Pruitt.
Welcome to the William Byrd High School Air Force Junior ROTC website!

We have designed this to keep you up to date on any up coming events such as parades, field trips, etc., as well as providing a place for cadets to communicate with one another. If you have any suggestions to improve the site, or you would like to become more involved in its operation, please contact C/capt Travis Meador (Or any other site moderator)

Use the sidebar to your left to navigate through the website and to get all the information you need.

Not a cadet but thinking about joining AFJROTC? Click HERE for more information on the program. To join the William Byrd unit, see your guidance counselor or Major Jeff Pruitt and SMSgt Paul Richardson

  • ATTENTION TO ALL CADETS USING OUR SITE: Major Pruitt monitors this site on a regular basis and contributes often. Our William Byrd IT staff also keeps an eye on things that occur on this website. We were given permission to allow students access to this website on school laptops, and we would hate to see this advantage taken away. So, keep this in mind, when posting comments to discussion boards, etc. Be sure to keep all comments clean and civil. Remember, someone reading your post can't see your facial expressions and body language, so they may not realize that you were kidding and could be easily offended. We (Major Pruitt and the admins) reserve the right to remove any content we deem inappropriate, for any reason. We are very pleased with the progress that has been made here -- let's all work together to ensure it continues!
  • The Air Force mission statement: "The mission of the United States Air Force is to fly, fight, and win ... in air, space, and cyberspace."
